How much text fits in a QR code?
A link or a few hundred characters is comfortable. If you paste something too long the tool tells you. Shorter content also scans faster from further away.
Is what I type sent anywhere?
No. The code is drawn in your browser, which matters when it holds a private link, Wi-Fi details or contact info.
